Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a part-time Patient Access Representative to handle patient registration, verify identities, review schedules, and scan insurance documents. You will enter demographics and insurance data with care, and explain and collect co-pays, deposits, and balances while ensuring privacy standards.

Formación

• HS - High School Grad or Equivalent.
• 2 years of Customer Service and/or Data Entry experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree can substitute two years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient identity and select correct patient record during registration.
• Review schedules and physician orders to register patient for service; scan insurance documents and enter demographics and insurance data.
• Explain and collect co-payments, deposits, and balances; provide first impression and guidance to patients and families.
