Job summary

West Oaks Hospital in Houston is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our 7p-7a shift with rotating weekends. The role involves receiving, scheduling and referring inquiry calls, and coordinating intake paperwork and insurance information to ensure a smooth admission process.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, CPR and de-escalation certifications, and at least two years of related experience, preferably in a psychiatric healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications required.
• Two years of related experience required; psychiatric healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and processes patient assessment. Handles Inquiry calls immediately.
• Assures that all required information is placed on the intake form. Facilitate referrals to outpatient services. Maintains communication with AHP, physician’s offices and referral sources.
• Other job duties as assigned
