Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure availability of parts for maintenance across our facilities. You will manage parts receiving, stocking, and issuing to technicians, while maintaining accurate records and supporting efficient inventory decisions.

The role requires experience with inventory control, basic office software, and adherence to safety and policy guidelines. Proficiency with parts manuals and vehicle-related parts knowledge is a plus; willingness to

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• 1–2 years office experience preferred.
• Heavy-duty truck parts experience preferred.
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Issue replacement parts to mechanics.
• Receive and unpack parts, verify shipments.
• Receive, tag, stock, and disburse parts to technicians.
• Prepare purchase orders for parts and equipment.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory reports.
• Process warranty claims.
• Return parts and cores and track credits.
• Maintain inventory data and assist management in restocking.
• Drive a company vehicle on routes as needed.
