Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Shift Security Supervisor to oversee a specific shift at a client site in Maine. The role includes supervising officers, coordinating with site leadership, and ensuring quality service.

Starting pay is $22.25/hour with paid orientation and training. Part-time hours are Thursday and Friday 3pm–11pm; valid driver’s license and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public.
• Must be able to prepare written reports/logs neatly.
• Must read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Driving positions require a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use client-site wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crises calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of security services on a shift at a customer site.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment guidelines.
