CAPSA, located in Utah, seeks an After-Hours Advocate for part-time evening, overnight, and weekend shifts to support survivors of domestic violence. You will staff the crisis line, assist shelter residents with check-ins/check-outs, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment after hours.

The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and strong boundaries, with training provided. Prior crisis response or advocacy experience is helpful but not required, and candidates must be comfortable working

Responsabilités

• Answer CAPSA's crisis line and document calls in our tracking system
• Assist with shelter check-ins and check-outs, including preparing rooms and exit procedures
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for shelter residents
• Interact with residents with compassion and professionalism, helping to mediate concerns as they arise
• Participate in monthly team meetings, CAPSA's 40-hour core advocacy training, and ongoing education
