Job summary

PITT OHIO in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Part Time Dockworker-Outbound to join our team. This role supports loading/unloading freight with attention to safety and accuracy, and operates Monday through Friday, 5 PM to 10 PM.

You will read shipping labels, prepare paperwork, and ensure compliance with DOT and company policies. This position offers competitive pay starting at USD 25.74 per hour and opportunities to move to top rate after the probationary period.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a NON-DOT physical examination.
• At-will employee per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight by hand or with hand truck, following DOT requirements.
• Read shipping labels and follow loading instructions.
• Sort and secure items on trucks to prevent damage.
• Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors.
• Complete paperwork daily and comply with regulations.
• Be available to work with management approval for exceptions.
