PITT OHIO is hiring a Full Time Dockworker-Outbound for our Harrisburg, PA location. You will load/unload freight, read shipping labels, and follow DOT loading instructions while working Monday to Friday with a 5 PM start. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable, accurate handling of shipments.

Qualifications

• Must pass a non-DOT physical examination.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen with a negative result.
• Ability to read and write English and perform simple math.
• Ten-year work history check required with explanations for gaps.
• At-will employment relationship with Pitt Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight by hand or with hand trucks/dollies.
• Read shipping labels and follow loading instructions per DOT.
• Sort and secure items on trucks to prevent damage.
• Operate common material handling tools: carts, dollies, pallet jacks, tow motors.
• Complete paperwork daily related to job execution.
• Maintain safe, cooperative work behavior and adhere to regulations.
