Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore Weinberg Housing and Resource Center seeks an Operations Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient shelter operations and oversee staff, volunteers, and maintenance. The role manages daily operations, policy implementation, and vendor relationships to support high‑quality client services.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years in human services or building operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, human services or related field.
• Two years of related experience in human services, building operations or related experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Addresses critical building issues as they arise and resolves staff, client, and volunteer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all services provided to clients to ensure accurate guidance and support.
• Collaborates with the Program Director on operational planning, security needs, and vendor procurement.
• Develops, implements, and manages facility policies and procedures to support safe and efficient operations.
• Ensures the safety and security of clients, staff, volunteers, and facility assets at all times.
• Oversees inventory management, including receiving, tracking, and distributing donations with proper documentation.
