Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a lead-level outbound supervisor for offsite operations at USA Canal Winchester. The role oversees warehouse activities Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, ensures safe operations and accurate freight handling, and guides a team under the Warehouse Supervisor.

You will operate forklifts, coordinate inbound/outbound freight, and maintain compliance with OSHA while ensuring efficient workflows and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Lead level position with strong interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 4–6 years' warehousing experience.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations; able to operate forklift and computer; strong inventory and accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process.
• Reconcile driver pick up and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.
• Coordinate trucking transportation in and out of the warehouse.
• Maintain quality standards for warehouse storage and service.
