Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator for the Evening shift, onsite in Texas. Under the PAS supervisor, you will support patient on-site registration and arrival, collecting demographics and insurance details, and ensuring financial clearance for services.

You will greet patients professionally, maintain compliant documentation, and contribute to a culture of patient-centered care within Providence's Revenue Cycle Business Services across multiple states including Texas.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• 3 years experience within Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect demographic information, insurance information and patient liability at the time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned accounts and ensure compliant documentation.
