Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Wasilla, AK is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support daily programming and patient care in a community-focused setting. This on-site role offers a schedule of Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, and pay up to $22 hourly based on experience and fit.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Clean DMV record for last 3 years.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Support structured daily programming and group coordination.
Build trusting relationships with patients to support engagement and progress.
Monitor patients and the facility, perform safety checks.
Communicate patient observations to clinical staff.
Ensure adherence to program structure and facility rules.
Document observations and incidents accurately and promptly.
Transport patients to and from program and community appointments.
Record vital signs and conduct testing per policy.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients.
Refer clinically to therapy or medical staff when needed.
Keep supervisors informed of relevant patient information.
Assist with supply management and day-to-day facility operations.
