Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support patients on their recovery journey. This on-site, part-time role covers 7pm–7:30am shifts, with a compensation range of $16–$17 per hour, depending on experience.

You will work under the Director of Operations and contribute to safety, supervision, and care coordination across our facilities. Ideal candidates bring experience in addiction or mental health treatment, a clean DMV record, and at least

Qualifications

• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment (preferred).
• Associate's degree or higher (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds to ensure safety and report incidents to medical staff.
• Measure and report vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests, and follow company policies.
• Provide compassionate patient support and refer clinical concerns to therapy staff.
• Communicate with Team Leader and Supervisor to ensure high-quality care; collaborate with the team.
• Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and discharge preparations.
