Banyan Treatment Centers in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our on-site team. This role supports structured daily programming for clients with SUD and mental health needs, helping build skills and accountability on a 12-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to remain professional, empathetic and composed in high-stress situations.
• Strong observation, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Driving roles require valid license and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Support structured daily programming and group coordination.
• Build trust-based relationships to reinforce engagement and progress.
• Monitor patients and perform safety checks.
• Communicate observations to clinical and medical staff.
• Ensure adherence to program structure and facility rules.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and timely.
• Transport patients to programs and community appointments.
• Record vital signs and conduct UDS/breathalyzer tests.
• Provide emotional support and crisis de-escalation as needed.
• Refer concerns to therapy or medical staff when appropriate.
