Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an On Call Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role emphasizes completing janitorial duties, following the daily schedule, and upholding safety standards.

Evening shift Monday through Friday, 5:00pm to 1:00am, paid at $21.53 to $22.53 per hour. The successful candidate will use proper PPE, work with a team, and report hazards to supervision while delivering professional service.

Qualifications

• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Handle Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collection, classification, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Use proper personal protective equipment
