Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The position offers an evening shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm with a pay rate of $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, following safety rules, and reporting hazardous conditions to supervision. This role supports the shift lead and emphasizes professional customer service.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Conduct hazardous waste responsibilities including collection, classification, sorting, storing, shipping/receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling and packaging.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Work as part of a team with other employees.
• Fill in during staff shortages.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use appropriate PPE.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and reporting systems.
