Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas. You will perform janitorial duties, follow the daily schedule, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires operating cleaning equipment, reporting hazards, and working well in a team. On-call shift 12pm-8:30pm with $23.50/hr pay; bilingual ability is a plus and safety training certification may be required.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license; forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.
