• Schedule appointments and obtain previous medical records as needed on staff request.
• Answer telephones and take accurate messages for nursing and clinical staff.
• Process patient enrollment, insurance authorization, and encounters in the computer system.
• Maintain logs, file patient charts, and coordinate with units for patient flow.
• Perform general clerical duties including mail handling and supply stocking.
