Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is hiring an RN supervisor to direct the day-to-day nursing functions for designated units in Alabama. You will manage LPNs, MACs and CNAs, ensure care plans and physician orders are followed, and coordinate resident activities during the 3P-11P evening shift and 11P-7A night shift.

Requirements include an active Alabama RN license and CPR certification, with preferred one year in a skilled nursing facility. Proficiency with electronic health records is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license in Alabama is required.
• One year of experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of LPNs, MACs and CNAs on designated units during the shift.
• Provide resident care including assessments, care planning, treatments, medications, and other activities as per plans and physician orders.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing leadership regarding resident status and shift events.
• Make rounds with physicians and document care and treatment as indicated.
• Review and transcribe physician orders and ensure execution.
• Meet with residents or families as necessary and report issues to Supervisors.
• Complete medication pass audits and report discrepancies.
• Complete forms and reports; maintain records as required.
• Coordinate resident activities with other staff and inform about new admissions.
• Report discrepancies and issues to Nursing Director/Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
