Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Alabama (Active).
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to use computer software for documentation and records.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily nursing functions of LPNs, MACs and CNAs on designated units.
• Provide resident care per care plans and physician orders; document responses.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing leadership about residents’ status.
• Make rounds with physicians and document care and treatment.
• Review and transcribe physician orders; ensure execution.
• Meet with residents/families; escalate issues to Supervisor.
• Coordinate resident activities with staff and inform about new admissions.
• Complete medication pass audits and report discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
