Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Alabama with active license.
• Minimum one year experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn software.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing functions of LPNs, MACs and CNAs on designated units.
• Provide resident care including assessments, care planning, treatments, medications per orders.
• Communicate with physicians and staff regarding resident status and new admissions.
• Perform rounds with physicians and document care.
• Review physician orders and ensure execution.
• Meet with residents or families to discuss care.
• Complete medication pass audits and document discrepancies.
• Complete forms and reports.
• Coordinate resident activities and inform staff of new admissions.
• Report any issues to the Director of Nursing.
• Perform other duties as directed.
