Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant fields and eligible for ASCP certification.
• ASCP certification or eligible required for position.
• If hired after 1/19/2025 must be ASCP certified within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytic workflow and ensures proper specimen labeling and handling.
• Performs analytical testing following SOPs and maintains instrument quality control.
• Verifies orders, coordinates with physicians and nursing staff as needed.
• Performs post-analytic duties including reporting results and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintains safety, housekeeping, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participates in training, SOP updates, and process improvement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Allied Health
