Qualifications

• Must have MIG and TIG welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, drawings and instructions.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Experience with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum welding.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on specified materials according to job specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to complete welds accurately.
• Inspect welds and finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Use measuring tools to verify tolerances on fabricated components.
• Operate grinders and fabrication tools to finish welded parts.
• Report quality or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team to continuously improve welding and fabrication processes.
