Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled TIG Welder for a contract-to-hire role in Lakeland, FL. The position focuses on stainless steel welding, precise fabrication, and interpreting blueprints to ensure top-quality components.

Shifts run early morning with no weekends, in a non-climate controlled job shop environment. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG welding experience on stainless steel, the ability to read schematics, and a proven track record of tight-tolerance welding.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in stainless steel welding and fabrication.
• Knowledge of precision welding techniques and tight tolerance requirements.
• Successful completion of a progressive weld test with increasing difficulty.
• Experience with Halflap T Joint on 14 Gauge materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding with a focus on stainless steel materials.
• Ensure high tolerance and quality standards are met in all welding tasks.
• Fabricate metal components as per project requirements.
