Aerotek is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator for a contract-to-hire role in Kennewick, WA. You will work on diverse fabrication projects, performing TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials, and completing MIG welding as needed.

The position requires independent work, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project specifications while maintaining safety standards. Typical hours are days, with a focus on quality workmanship.

Competenze

• Prior TIG welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and various materials.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Mansioni

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other materials.
• Complete MIG welding and general fabrication tasks on custom projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
• Fit, assemble, and fabricate components to meet project requirements.
• Weld and fabricate custom parts, assemblies, frames, and structural components.
• Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication and welding.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drills, and other shop tools.
