Job summary

The Lindner Center of Hope is seeking a Mental Health Specialist (Sibcy) for the Mason, OH facility. The role provides direct care under RN supervision, serving as a group leader and helping patients learn skills within the treatment plan.

This evening, part-time position supports a dynamic clinical team in a cared-for environment. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, recognizing behavioral changes, and ensuring safety and quality in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field plus at least 6 months mental health experience.
• Or an Associate degree in Mental Health Technology with three years of mental health experience.
• Six years of mental health experience accepted as alternative qualification.

Responsibilities

• Gathers objective data about the patient.
• Reports changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse.
• Identifies emergency situations and responds promptly.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.
• Supports patient and family–centered care and participates in routine unit activities.
