Job summary

The Lindner Center of Hope in Mason, OH, is seeking a Social Worker for a part-time (.2 FTE) role. The position focuses on psychosocial assessments, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning for inpatients.

Weekend obligation is every other weekend, and the role supports patients and families through hospitalization and post-hospital needs. Qualified candidates hold a Master of Social Work, Ohio licensure as a Social Worker (LSW/LISW), and 1–3 years of healthcare or psychiatric

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work degree from an accredited program.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio.
• 1–3 years of healthcare/psychiatric experience.
• Solid knowledge of social work practice with strong assessment, interview, and counseling skills.
• Ability to collaborate well and align with Lindner Center of Hope mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services on the assigned inpatient unit and others as needed.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and document findings.
• Contribute to treatment planning and implement social work interventions.
• Document in EMR and paper charts with timely, concise recording.
• Assist with discharge planning across multidisciplinary teams and educate patients/families.
