Job summary

Lindner Center of Hope is seeking a Mental Health Technician for full-time (.8 FTE) from 7:00am to 3:30pm in Mason, OH. You will support inpatient units, assist with ADLs, document in EMR, and work with the treatment team to implement care plans.

The role requires related education and MH experience, CPR certification (may be obtained after hire), and a commitment to patient-centered care in a nonprofit psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in psychology, social work or related field required with 6 months of mental health experience preferred
• Two years of experience in a mental health setting preferred
• CPR Certification may be obtained after hire
• Ability to follow Lindner Center of Hope mission, vision and values

Responsibilities

• Obtain clinical measurements and vital signs.
• Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, meals and ambulation.
• Document in EMR and communicate changes to the RN.
• Support treatment teams and follow individualized care plans.
• Conduct therapy activities with patients and monitor safety.
• Assist in transporting patients to appointments and tests.
• Maintain a calm, healing environment and participate in quality improvement.
