Job summary

Kiln in Portland seeks an On-Call After-Hours Member Experience Associate to greet members, assist guests, handle inquiries, and help events run smoothly at our Portland location.

You'll support Community Management, ensure facilities operate, set up AV equipment, and contribute to a welcoming entrepreneurial community. Partial college degree OK; strong communication and organizational skills required.

Qualifications

• Partial college degree preferred, not required.
• Office management or administrative experience.
• Customer service or support experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability, responsibility and empathy.
• Passion for entrepreneurial communities and Kiln’s mission.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk, lobby, mailroom, storage and office spaces.
• Greet members and guests cheerfully.
• Serve as contact for event attendees, vendors and staff.
• Set up and operate audio-visual equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service about Kiln and memberships.
• Assist with teardown and space cleanup after events.
• Support operations with special projects as needed.
