Ivy Park at Livermore, managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Medication Technician to support medication administration for residents. This role involves direct care, engagement in activities, and collaboration with housekeepers and maintenance to uphold high standards of service.

Pay ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. We offer benefits and growth opportunities across California, with emphasis on resident well-being and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience assisting with medication at a RCFE.
• State training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to care for the elderly.
• Ability to interact with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Pass criminal background check and health screening.
• Vaccination/testing/PPE requirements may apply per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Order/track medication changes, refills and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident records.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
