Oakmont of Fullerton, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Medication Technician. You will supervise and assist in medication administration, provide direct personal care, and encourage residents to participate in activities while collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of RCFE medication assistance is preferred. LVN is a plus; MS Office skills required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medication assistance in RCFE preferred.
• Training/certification may be required by state regulation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
• MS Office (Word/Excel) proficiency required.
• Desire to work with elderly and provide care.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, physicians and families.
• Must pass criminal background and health screenings (TB/physical).
• Compliance with vaccination and PPE guidelines per regulatory rules.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate confidential medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperation with coworkers and other departments.
