Job summary

Oakmont of Fullerton seeks a Medication Technician to assist with administering medications and providing direct resident care on Sundays and Mondays (2PM–10:30PM). The role includes coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, maintaining accurate records, and supporting a safe, compassionate living environment in a premier senior community.

The ideal candidate has related experience, may require state training, and will work with a team dedicated to authentic care and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE.
• Completion of training/certification may be required based on state regulation.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to operate MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with staff and other departments.
