Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents at Ivy Terrace at Fullerton. You will coordinate with pharmacies and physicians, prepare and distribute meds, and maintain confidential records while supporting resident activities and safety.

Shifts include PM and NOC with days varying. Qualifications include RCFE experience or state training, 18+ years old, HS diploma or GED, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with medication in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) preferred.
• State regulations may require completion of training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff and residents.
