Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Part Time Medication Technician (evenings/weekends) to administer medications and assist residents with daily living activities. The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulations, with a focus on teamwork and quality service.

Shifts are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekends; compensation is $19.50/hour. Requires high school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid; 1+ year healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CPR & First Aid certification required by state regulations.
• 1+ years of related healthcare experience preferred; on-the-job training available for suitable candidates.
• Must be age 18 or over and able to pass background and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments, and care as assigned, adhering to policies and regulations.
• Notify Supervisor if medication is not administered correctly and document the reason.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medication and care records per procedures.
• Track medication orders and refills; notify pharmacy of changes and report missing meds.
• Support Caregiver duties as needed and communicate changes to supervisors.
• Document incidents and changes in resident condition; respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards and policies.
