Job summary

Ivy Park at Palo Alto, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a part-time Medication Technician for evening shifts (2:00-10:00 PM) on Mon/Wed/Fri. You will help administer meds, support resident activities, and coordinate with pharmacy and physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Health screenings and background checks are required. Qualifications include 1 year of relevant experience, HS diploma or equivalent, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication in a residential care setting.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• LVN is a plus and MS Office proficiency is expected.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete resident medication and care records.
• Ensure a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration with staff across departments.
