Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in San Francisco is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician for the Ivy Park Cathedral Hill community to supervise and assist in delivering medications to residents in accordance with nursing standards and organization policies.

You will provide direct personal care, encourage resident participation in activities, and collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance as part of a committed team.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication in RCFE or similar setting.
• State training/certification may be required depending on state.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
• Able to operate MS Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment per safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers.
