Job summary

Ivy Park at Monterey, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a part-time Medication Technician to support residents with medication administration and daily care in a senior living setting. Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm on Sundays and Mondays, with comprehensive benefits and team-focused culture.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in med assistance, strong customer service, and the ability to work with families, physicians, and staff. Vaccination and health screenings may be required by policy.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication at a RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).
• Completion of training/certification may be required by state regulation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests including TB.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment per safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
