Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a Med Tech to administer medications and provide direct care to residents at Avamere at Park Place in Portland, OR. Evening FT with rotating schedule; PRN shifts also available. Wage ranges from $22.47 to $27.97 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities include passing meds, recording administrations, and supporting nursing staff. Must have care experience in memory care or assisted living and CPR/First Aid, plus a Food Handler's Card.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in memory care or assisted living.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must have Food Handler's Card.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders under RN supervision.
• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Record medications in residents' records.
• Notify pharmacy or family when refills are needed.
• Maintain clean and organized medication cart/room.
• Monitor and report side effects to Health Services Director.
• Record changes in residents' status in EMR.
• Follow care plans and assist with appointments.
