Qualifications

• Obtain and verify patient medication histories including prescriptions, OTCs, vitamins and supplements.
• Conduct patient/family interviews focused on current regimens.
• Record medication histories and ensure accuracy per Iowa state law.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, verify for accuracy, and record initial medication histories from patients or families.
• Conduct patient interviews to gather current medications including prescriptions and OTCs.
• Perform functions of a pharmacy technician as required by Iowa law.
