Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Surgical Evening Educator to advance clinical practice and staff development on medical-surgical units during evening shifts in Salem, MA.

The role designs, delivers, and evaluates education programs for nursing and interprofessional staff, including orientation, competency-based training, and ongoing skill development, with collaboration to align with standards and performance improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching and training skills for clinical education.
• Solid lesson planning, development, and evaluation of structured learning.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Current RN license in Massachusetts with significant medical-surgical experience.
• BSN is required; Master’s in Nursing, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience in clinical education or staff development in acute care settings.
• Ability to integrate evidence-based practice, quality and safety principles into education plans.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; able to work evenings.

Responsabilités

• Design, deliver, and evaluate education programs for nursing and interprofessional staff.
• Provide orientation, competency-based training, and ongoing skill development.
• Facilitate in-services and simulations; mentor staff; provide bedside coaching.
• Maintain accurate documentation of educational activities and competencies.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to align education with standards and performance goals.
