Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a 40-hour, day-shift role on a general medicine unit. The position focuses on patient care, education, and collaboration with the health care team.

Ideal candidates have an MSN, 5+ years of bedside nursing (recent med/surg experience), a passion for teaching, quality outcomes, and participation in research initiatives. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required and Master's Degree in Nursing required.
MSN required; bedside nursing experience welcomed.
5+ years of nursing practice at the bedside with general med/surg experience in the last 5 years.
Strong learning orientation and commitment to education and team growth.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Provides expert-level consultation and advises clinical staff on diagnoses and treatment plans.
Plans and delivers relevant staff and patient education on plan of care.
Actively participates in research and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
Provides health care services to patients and manages diagnosis and treatment.
Leads and mentors nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
