Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Clinical Educator/Instructor MS on a Per Diem basis, rotating shift, onsite at 1620 Tremont Street. The role focuses on orientation, training, and professional development for nursing staff within the Central Center for Nursing Excellence.

You will lead educational offerings, support competency training, and collaborate with nurse leaders to promote evidence-informed practice and patient safety. Weekend/holiday coverage is required per contract.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP or PhD required; current certification must be maintained while employed.
• Current nursing licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership progression.
• Competency in adult learning principles and nursing knowledge base.
• EPIC training and familiarity with clinical equipment as listed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates orientation, training and professional development for nursing staff.
• Participates in needs assessments and learning program development.
• Precepts, teaches and mentors staff; tracks orientation progress.
• Ensures competency training and HealthStream completion.
• Leads quality and process improvement initiatives in clinical education.
