Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Aide Course completed.
• Current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with daily living activities.
• Administer prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Complete medication cart audits and maintain the medication cart as directed.
• Document medication administration on EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Report incidents and communicate with HCD, RN/LPN, or ED.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies and assist with move-in transitions.
• Support activity programs and assist with resident engagement.
