Job summary

The role requires at least 1 year in a meat manufacturing environment and 1+ year in supervision, a high school diploma, and strong communication. Travel is occasional, relocation not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat manufacturing environments preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a meat manufacturing environment with supervisory or team lead experience.
• Strong communication and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production orders for timely/accurate fulfillment.
• Oversee onboarding and ergonomics, and lead safety practices.
• Ensure machinery operates at peak performance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain USDA inspection standards and keep accurate records.
• Lead safety meetings and promote a high-performing workforce.
• Oversee shipping, inventory rotation, and product coding.
• Communicate benefits and policies to team members.
• Coach, train, retain, and counsel staff as required.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve production issues.
• Maintain records on rework/returns and educate on quality.
