Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to enter and retrieve information in computer systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with plant management and team members, both verbally and in writing.
• Previous leadership, lead, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily departmental operations and workflow.
• Ensure all team members are in their assigned work areas at start-up, after breaks, and throughout the shift.
• Communicate work assignments, production priorities, and Supervisor instructions to team members.
• Monitor production progress to meet schedules, quality standards, and departmental goals.
• Perform product audits to verify products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and yield expectations.
• Monitor team members and equipment to ensure safety, food safety, quality, and company policies.
