Job summary

You will supervise training, manage call-offs, and oversee equipment handling, while maintaining safety standards and effective communication with hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Quality: Ensures area coverage and tasks meet standards.
• Accuracy: Ensures procedures for inventory & transactions are followed.
• Safety: Maintains safety policies and reports issues.
• Customer Service: Delivers high-quality service and addresses concerns.
• Staffing: Manages call-offs and workload distribution.
• Communication: Communicates with management and staff; acts as department contact.
• Cost Control: Uses oldest products first to prevent waste.
• Training: Plans and supports staff training and cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Review call-offs and call in replacements per procedure.
• Reorganize tasks to cover vacancies and meet department goals.
• Oversee pumps/equipment pickups during shifts.
• Supervise training and cross-training of staff.
• Direct and coordinate team assignments effectively.
• Maintain department safety and policy adherence.
• Ensure accurate inventorying and stocking/restocking.
• Serve as departmental representative in absence of supervisor.
