Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Utility - Material Handler for the 2nd shift (3 pm – 11 pm) in the ES AMER ESS division. The role handles receiving, tracking, locating, storing, and delivering materials, with emphasis on accurate records and safe operating procedures.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and experience with SAP, PIV, and forklift operations. Benefits include health, vacation time from day one, weekly pay, shift premiums, and opportunities for overtime and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must know progression of B and C in Material Handling.
• Minimum knowledge of one additional job within East/West End.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• Relocation benefit not offered; within 50 miles preferred; military candidates exempt from area limit.

Responsibilities

• Assess departmental priorities and adjust work as needed; may schedule work.
• Report part-shortage issues for Production Control; generate ECRs and DMTs.
• Assist new and transferring employees with procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and priority lists in the assigned area.
• Receive parts from branch plants/vendors and locate in stock locations.
• Fill issue requests using bar code equipment and stockroom procedures.
• Process kit lists and issue kits for Power Lead Assembly, Tanking and Final Assembly.
• Collect, fill and deliver bins to production areas.
• Fill in for material handlers; train operators in PIV/Crane when needed.
