Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is hiring a Material Handler - 2nd Shift at Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on material planning, verification, storage, and allocation to support production lines. The position requires hand-held RF unit use and forklift operation within a manufacturing environment.

Pay is $18.50/hour plus shift differential. Core hours are 2:30pm-11pm, with on-site duties and opportunities for overtime and career growth. High School diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Candidates must reside within Raleigh, NC area to be considered.
• Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing support including planning, verifying, storing, organizing, and allocating materials.
• Operate hand-held RF units to locate, move and allocate material.
• Move materials based on production plan and requests; kit parts for production lines.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform cycle counts; monitor inventory system.
• Load/unload trucks and inspect materials for damage; report irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
• Drive a box truck up to 2–3 hours daily; operate forklifts with daily checks and 5S housekeeping.
