Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division in Hodges, SC is seeking a Material Handler II for the 2nd shift. The role pays $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium; core hours are 7:30 am–3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Eligible for a variable incentive program. Responsibilities include safe forklift operation, routine inspections, material movement, cycle counts in the MRP system, and adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
• 6 months of experience operating a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck).
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
• Relocation is not offered; candidates must live within 50 miles of Hodges, SC.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, unload, and retrieve materials.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Safely transport materials within the facility to trucks, pallets, and storage locations.
• Verify delivery accuracy and inspect materials for damage.
• Complete inventory transactions in the MRP system, including cycle counts.
• Follow SOPs, method sheets, safety policies, and WSRA requirements.
• Coordinate with team members using radios and other tools.
• Dispose of non-metal scrap per procedures.
• Flex into other warehouse or logistics tasks as needed to support operations.
