Job summary

Marvin is hiring an Evening Maintenance Technician in Kansas City, KS. You will perform advanced maintenance on production machines, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment with minimal supervision to keep operations running smoothly.

The role includes setting up new equipment, documenting work in the EAM system, and mentoring others in repairs. Strong knowledge of blueprints, welding basics, and fabrications is valued, with day-one health coverage and sign-on bonuses.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three years related experience and/or training.
Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift licenses.
Associate’s degree in a related-technical field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment and assist in machine repairs.
Document repairs and PM maintenance using the work order system (EAM).
Set up new equipment and troubleshoot using specialty tools; decide best repair approach.
Carry out basic machinist tasks with vertical mill and lathe.
Read blueprints/part drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
Maintain clean and organized work environment; provide status updates to supervisors.
