Job summary

Searchmasters Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of four technicians on the 2nd shift at our Fremont, Ohio plant. The role focuses on driving preventive and predictive maintenance, improving uptime, and ensuring reliability across all heavy mechanical systems.

You will troubleshoot automation, including PLC programming and robotics, and mentor technicians to grow technical skills and professionalism within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical skills with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 4+ years supervising maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 4 non-union Maintenance Technicians on 2nd shift.
• Serve as a hands-on, floor-driven leader who drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure accountability for PM completion and uphold equipment reliability standards across the facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues including PLC programming, robotics, and heavy mechanical systems.
• Mentor, coach, train, and develop team members to enhance technical skills and professional growth.
